- A woman slips and falls 20 feet on Wales' highest mountain, suffering multiple serious injuries in brutal conditions at altitude. The rescue team must stabilise her on exposed terrain before attempting an evacuation that is both technically complex and physically gruelling. Every movement carries risk and the altitude adds an extra layer of danger to an already critical situation. A demanding and high-stakes rescue in one of the most unforgiving environments the teams operate in.
- New recruits are thrown straight into live operations when a climber dislocates his shoulder on a technical route. Their training has prepared them - but nothing fully prepares you for the real thing. As they work to assess, treat and evacuate the casualty across difficult terrain, the experienced team watches every decision closely. A rescue that is straightforward by some standards becomes a defining moment for the next generation of mountain rescuers stepping up for the first time.
- Three emergencies collide in the mountains of North Wales, England; a young hiker is stranded on an icy ledge on Tryfan with no way down; search teams comb fog-smothered terrain hunting for walkers who have disappeared; as temperatures soar on the hottest day of the year, a man shows signs of heatstroke after pushing too far on a mountain climb.
