Synopsis
Chef Joel Gamoran travels across America to create feasts in unexpected places on this series. But instead of utilizing the fine-dining ingredients he's used to, he uses food waste and scraps. He must elevate the out-of-the-box ingredients to create meals worthy of a chef of his caliber. In each episode, he visits a different city and partners with food waste champions to celebrate the local cuisine while creating a meal with ingredients like banana peels, chicken bones and carrot stems. He has less than a day to source the ingredients, build a menu and create the meal for an outdoor dinner party. He does it all in his refurbished 1963 Volkswagen bus, which doubles as his mobile kitchen.Cast
