Synopsis
While visiting a friend, daredevil car racer Bob "Hurry" Kane (Brian Donlevy) learns that his father (Harry Carey), who runs an independent cab company, is being pressured into a protection racket by criminal boss Jim Barnes (Barton MacLane). Intrigued by the danger, Bob takes a job with his father's company and starts wrecking Barnes' cabs. When Barnes' efforts to kill Bob fail -- and his offer to hire him backfires -- he sends his girlfriend, Sybil (Rochelle Hudson), after him.Cast
