Host Alfonso Ribeiro describes the origins of foods that include everything from childhood favorites to the latest trends. Episodes often have a theme with a common thread that connects the featured foods. An episode about foods that are rolled, for example, includes stories of a family-owned tortilla company and one of the most popular rolled snacks: Tootsie Rolls.
