  • When an ancient alien horde escapes from its prison on Mars and infiltrates Earth, Batman and Superman join forces to investigate the threat; mysterious psychic attacks lead Superman to discover an alien prisoner unlike all the others.
  • The heroes ask a reluctant Green Arrow to join the newly expanded Justice League; Green Lantern takes a team including Green Arrow, Supergirl and Captain Atom to stop a giant nuclear monster.
  • Superman and Batman escape with Martian J'onn Jonzz and meet fellow superheroes Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, the Flash and Wonder Woman; the new team flies off to stop alien factories from creating a planet-wide shroud intended to block the sun.
