  • After Carrascosa finds María Marta on the ground, doctors and relatives intervene; the prosecutor takes a statement and the first suspicions arise; at autopsy, five bullets are found; Belu and Juana continue their investigations.

  • After María Marta's death makes headlines, the prosecutor is pressured to investigate further; the interrogations reveal an altercation with neighbor Matías Centeno a few months earlier.

  • Carlos Carrascosa and María Marta's father confront each other; Carlos is placed in detention.

  • Carrascoso and several other members of María Marta's family are convicted; María Marta's stepsister, Irene Hurting, faces the scrutiny of the press; Belu and Juana continue investigating Centeno.

  • After more details emerge about Matías Centeno's troubled past, he suffers a family tragedy; Carrascoso receives an unexpected call; Belu and Juana follow a theory that leads them to María Marta's masseuse.
