Zong-Fang stumbles upon the ring and lies about his financial status to win Ya-Wen's mother's approval, but Ya-Wen sees through his lies and is disappointed in him.
The ring ends up in the hands of retiree Tseng Yun-Sheng who bumps into his college sweetheart, Wang Ching-Fang; the ring gets stuck on Ching-Fang's finger.
The ring gets taken by a thug, while Yun-Sheng and Ching-Fang try to get it back.
Believing the ring belongs to his crush Amy, student Zi-Long tries to return it by following her around the city; hoping to repair their relationship, Zi-Long's estranged father Ming-Zong offers to help.
Amy crashes at Zi-Long's place to avoid the paparazzi; Zi-Long accuses Ming-Zong of taking the ring when it goes missing; Lisa entreats Yi-Zhi to help save her parents' marriage.
The ring makes its way to Rossy, a radio host whose show is in danger of cancellation, and whose marriage is on the verge of breaking apart; Yi-Zhi fights to show Lisa that he's the right man for her; Alan makes Lisa an impossible promise to match.
After hearing about the adventures of the ring from Rossy's radio show, Yi-Zhi visits all the people whose lives it changed; Yi-Zhi weighs his options now that he and Lisa are set to go abroad.
