OWN's reality TV series "Houston Beauty" features the goings-on at Franklin Beauty School, owned and operated by the Jemison family for more than 98 years. The schools' students and staff have big dreams, big personalities and even bigger challenges. Although the Jemisons are strict, they never know who will walk through their doors. For most students, it's a chance to turn their lives around, if they can overcome the obstacles of earning a cosmetology license.
