Synopsis
Digging deeper than its series brethren in the genre that searches for "cryptids," "Monsters Underground" features a military survivalist, biologist, reclusive hunter/tracker, and former pro boxer hoping to prove creatures of folklore exist beneath Earth's surface. Led by Bill Brock, whose experience includes hunting for Bigfoot, the team ventures into caverns, mines and caves, meeting disorienting darkness, claustrophobic passages, and potentially dangerous beasts. Those sought include an olitiau, a giant reptilian bat; a mapinguari, descended from a prehistoric sloth; and the draco, a lizard/human hybrid.Cast
