Synopsis
"King of the Road" documents the lives of members of three teams of skateboarders as they take a road trip down the West Coast from Seattle to San Diego as part of Thrasher Magazine's annual scavenger hunt. Some of the world's best skaters risk life, limbs and even dignity all in the name of being able to go on the adventure of a lifetime. As part of the scavenger hunt, the teams are sent on unusual -- and sometimes perilous -- challenges, which include grinding down a flaming rail.
