The stories are told by the deceased victims using fictional dialogue and a narrator who knows everything, including who is responsible, but doesn't come out and say it. Instead, as the mystery unfolds, the viewer is left to pick out the clues given throughout the show by friends, family members, and law enforcement officials and come to the conclusion on their own.
