Cleo's pup Ophelia is left behind on a foraging trip and becomes the victim of a goshawk, which leaves the rest of the family feeling insecure.
The Gosa gang moves into a new home known as Fortress Burrow, but this causes issues with a nearby rival family of meerkats.
Priscilla brings an adopted pup from a rival gang to live with the Gosa gang, but he is met with a cold welcome.- The arrival of summer brings a large group of giraffes, which unsettles the Gosa gang and prompts them to make a move.
- As the Gosa gang head back from the Whispering Forest, they run into a rival gang, and it's not long before full on war breaks out.
