The War at Home

The War at Home

Documentary
Synopsis
By the late 1960s, the U.S. antiwar movement had spread from the Ivy League campuses of the east and west coasts to America's heartland. In Madison, Wis., student protests at the University of Wisconsin threatened to escalate into civic unrest when a bomb -- intended for an army research facility -- exploded and killed a physics student. Culling news footage and interviews, filmmakers Glenn Silber and Barry Alexander Brown investigate the events leading up to the incident.
