Synopsis
Alvaro (Jorge Román) is an outsider in many ways. Both an intellectual and a homosexual, he earns his living by fishing and cutting reeds off the coast of Argentina, only venturing to the mainland on occasion. But to get there, he must travel by ferry -- and the skipper, El Turu (Daniel Valenzuela), harasses Alvaro, as he believes his lack of morals threatens the nearby village. However, as El Turu's bullying gets more brazen, it appears that the ferryman is fighting his own personal demons.
