The Price of a Broken Heart

Synopsis
After almost 20 years of marriage, Dorothy (Park Overall) and Joe Hutlemyer (Timothy Carhart) divorce after Joe reveals a three-year affair with his secretary, Lynn (Laura Innes). Devastated and defiant, Dorothy discovers an obscure law that allows her to sue Lynn for breaking up her marriage. What follows is a difficult legal battle that sees Dorothy both vilified and supported by various media outlets, who have wildly differing views of the case. The film is based on a true story.
