Synopsis
Gene Autry (Gene Autry), the fastest postal inspector in the West, is on the trail of Big Jim Lassiter (Thurston Hall), who finances his crime sprees by robbing mail carriers. Autry meets Smiley Burnette (Smiley Burnette), a fellow postal inspector, and they set off in search of Big Jim. Burnette goes undercover as a horse doctor to get more information, while Autry poses as a rival robber. Things heat up when the duo catches up to the gang, which includes Big Jim's niece, Elaine (Gail Davis).
