Synopsis
Based on the classic fairy tale, this film follows the vain emperor (Sid Caesar) as he prepares for the wedding of his daughter, Princess Gilda (Lysette Anthony). Always looking for new ways to show off his importance and extravagance, the emperor falls for the scheme of two con men posing as tailors. These supposed makers of fine garb convince the ruler to purchase clothes that can be seen only by those who are worthy or extraordinarily smart. Plenty of awkward situations result.Cast
