  • Adventurist Josh James and his three mates prepare for a 7-day expedition to search out new adventures to push their clients to the edge; they'll use Kiwi ingenuity to survive while taking only what they can carry on their backs.

  • With many rainstorms in the area, it's clear that Josh and his mates won't make it out of the murky swamp before it gets dark; the group must construct a sleeping platform high above the water.

  • Josh James and his mates are ready to cook their hand-caught possum; they find building a primitive fire proves extremely challenging in wet New Zealand terrain.

  • Josh and his mates yearn to catch some Longfin eels for their next meal; they discover HuHu grubs buried in wood and decide to tie these worms to sticks and place them into the water to attract the eels.

  • New Zealand has amazing limestone caves that Josh wants to explore for his guided adventures; to up their game, he challenges his mates to not use any headlamps or flashlights.

  • Hungry for a main meal, Josh and his mates build snare traps to catch a possum, but capturing these animals is never easy; after dark falls and the traps come up empty, they decide to make a mad dash and go hunting for their possum dinner.

  • Josh and the boys have almost finished their seven-day adventure, but they still have a big challenge ahead; getting safely down a steep gorge surrounded by thunderous waterfalls.

  • The last leg of their 7-day expedition brings Josh James and the boys to an icy raging rapid; only one problem; not enough pack rafts for the four of them.
