Synopsis
In a last-ditch attempt to save low-wattage Southern California TV station KRUD, management brings in sleazy huckster Marvin Fleece (Dabney Coleman), who turns the station into KGOD, the country's first exclusively religion-themed TV station. As employees such as chain-smoking exercise-show host Jack Chudnowski (Paul Reubens) and faux-Latina cooking-show host Alice Kidd (Marcia Wallace) attempt to adapt to the new format, they discover that Fleece has a sinister plan underneath his piety.
