Synopsis
Richard Conte brings to life Jack London's story "The Mexican," set during the Mexican Revolution. Conte stars as Felipe Rivera, a young boxer whose father is murdered after publishing anti-government texts. Rivera is inspired by rebel leader Durango (Lee J. Cobb), who persuades him to help earn money to buy guns for the resistance movement. A fight against well-known boxer Danny Ward puts everything on the line for Rivera, whose character is based on the real-life boxer Joe Rivers.
