Synopsis
From the beginning of Prohibition and the outbreak of World War I through the depths of the Cold War, Vietnam and the Watergate scandal, J. Edgar Hoover (Broderick Crawford) serves his country as a quiet observer, a feared enforcer and the original leader of the FBI. When Hoover dies in 1972, a scandal erupts after his private files become public record and America gets a shocking glimpse into the mysterious figure who led the bureau in the most tumultuous decades of the 20th century.
