In Travel Channel's "Expedition Bigfoot," an elite team of researchers plugs the reported sightings into an advanced data algorithm to narrow its search for the elusive creature to an area in central Oregon. The eight-part series tracks the teams as it treks into the deep woods hoping to find evidence of the cryptid. An elite team of specialists uses an advanced data algorithm to pinpoint when and where they are likely to encounter Bigfoot; armed with the latest technology, they venture into the forests of central Oregon in search of the elusive beast.
With one team member down, Russell and Mireya head back into the forest to hunt down their leads; their intense investigation uncovers their first pieces of possible Bigfoot evidence.
As Bryce works with a scientist to analyze the hair sample, Russell discovers a structure he believes is a Bigfoot nest; new team member Ronny joins Mireya in a race to the nest to collect DNA samples that will break open the investigation.
Mireya and Ronny make a powerful discovery in the area surrounding the nest; when Russell falls ill, Bryce tests the theory that Bigfoot can render humans sick by emoting infrasound and is doing this to keep the team out of its territory.
The team plants tiny trackers around the clearing hoping they will cling to Bigfoot's fur; Mireya and Ronny return to where they heard whistles and saw glowing eyes; Mireya agrees to be bait in order to lure Bigfoot into the open.
After Russell records thermal imagery of what may be Bigfoot, Bryce hurries to have the footage analyzed by experts; the evidence is staggering; Mireya and Ronny realize they're not alone in the forest.
Mireya's nightmare comes true; Russell investigates a possible Bigfoot underwater passageway; Bryce secures an airship to survey the final square miles for Bigfoot's heat signature.
The team believes they've narrowed down the place where Bigfoot has been hiding throughout their expedition; a high-tech drone is deployed, and what takes place next is astonishing.

The team returns to the Olympic Peninsula with a plan to lure out a Bigfoot by releasing primate pheromones; after Ronny and Mireya see something watching them, and Russell is blindsided, it becomes clear -- the hunters are now the hunted.
