Teen Trouble
TV-142012Reality
Synopsis
Hosted by teen behavioral specialist Josh Shipp, this series tries to set troubled teens on the right track to lead successful lives before it is too late for them to stop their self-destructive activities. Shipp, an orphan who bounced around foster homes during his childhood, uses his unconventional method to get through to the teens and their parents, as he embeds himself in their lives. His gritty approach includes confronting the teens and parents to get to the root of issues causing dangerous behaviors. Each teen meets current and former troubled teens who didn't get the help they needed and, subsequently, have suffered greatly or experienced disaster. In an act of positive reinforcement, Shipp introduces the families to people who have experienced and -- more importantly -- overcome similar challenges to have happy and productive lives now. It's all done with the hope that lives are changed for the better.Cast
