Synopsis
In a modern world full of surveillance cameras, GPS and data tracking, it seems impossible that something or someone could simply disappear. But ships, planes, people and even places continue to vanish every year, without explanation. Now, Emmy-winning actor Terry O'Quinn ("Lost") -- who is quite familiar with planes that have mysteriously disappeared -- hosts a series that seeks explanations to some of mankind's most infamous mysteries of the missing. Investigators, scientists and other professionals use today's technology to decode what may have happened on the fateful day. How can something so closely monitored, like Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 -- the biggest aviation mystery of the 21st century, and the subject of the premiere episode -- simply vanish? Other episodes detail Alcatraz escapees in 1962, "The Lost Colony" in 16th-century North Carolina, and the notorious Bermuda triangle.Cast
