More about Something Borrowed, Something New

Whether a bride takes a page from the past or writes her own wedding script is the premise of "Something Borrowed, Something New," a half-hour series that follows her journey to find the perfect wedding dress. But there's a twist: Each one must choose whether she will walk down the aisle in a fashionably reimagined heirloom or in a new designer gown. Assisting the bride in each episode are designer Kelly Nishimoto and stylist Sam Saboura. Kelly updates a previously worn dress (mother's, best friend's, etc.) to fit the time, venue and personality of the bride, while Sam shops with the bride to pick out a brand new one. On the wedding day, it may be a new or a shared treasure.
