Seamus and Janet meet in Belfast, and after a night of laughter and sexual tension, Janet makes a suggestion.
Seamus's girlfriend whisks him away for the night and drags Janet along; an agonizing night of lies and deception ensues.
At last, the affair is on between Janet and Seamus; when they realize they both have feelings for each other, things take a different turn.
Janet travels to London to spend time with Seamus and enjoy some tourist attractions; it's obvious that they are hiding things from one another.
The affair between Janet and Seamus ends, but Janet's boss advises her to keep trying; a question arises as to whether they will be able to reconnect with each other or not.
Synopsis
Janet, a foul-mouthed Belfast supermarket worker, encounters Seamus under unusual circumstances. In complete opposition to her, he lives a London life, works as a political broadcaster, and has a celebrity girlfriend. Despite the apparent gulf in experiences between them, the two find themselves unexpectedly falling for each other.
