  • It's the second week into a three-week trial of two fishing greenhorns who have given up life as they knew it in a bid to more than double their monthly pay packets fishing in the Arctic Circle.

  • Greenhorn Andrew begins his final trial week on the Valdimar; deckhand Caitlin faces a week at sea with the crew one man down; both boats return to their shared home port for the Christmas break, allowing the crews to meet for the first time.

  • The greenhorns, hungry to secure their place onboard, start the final week of their trial period; Greg's time managing the hook machine ends in disaster; Caitlin's future as a deckhand is hanging by a thread.

  • Off the coast of Iceland, the fishing boat Valdimar hits an Arctic storm making fishing nearly impossible; on the Páll Jónsson, a horrendous injury puts the boat a man down, forcing the crew to work overtime.
