William Shatner built his early TV legacy exploring the future, but the "Star Trek" icon has been living in the past since the 1970s. That's when he bought a modest home in California after noticing it on daily jogs. Originally a one-room hunting lodge, then expanded over the years, the dwelling never quite fit the style of Bill and his wife, Elizabeth, until now. This six-episode series follows as the couple "boldly go where" they've not "gone before": A renovation brings a new kitchen and a front patio to accommodate large dinner parties, plus a makeover of his favorite hangout, the media room.

  • William and Elizabeth Shatner have always wanted a large, spacious and beautiful kitchen; they take down the walls that separate their dated and dark kitchen from their dining room.

  • The Shatners have never been in love with their front patio, so they demolish it entirely and build a completely enclosed front entry with arched windows and a grand front door.

  • The room where William likes to go to read scripts, meditate and be creative is renovated completely; a secret passageway is discovered, adding the the excitement of the remodel.

  • The Shatners knock out the entire front of their house to open up the living room and dining room; new hardwood floors, recessed lighting,and furniture.

  • The Shatners renovate their media room with a large walk-in closet and a new sound system for films and music; a surprise is discovered.

  • The next phase of the renovation is the big room where the Shatners host their weekly football parties; they use a painting they purchases in Greece as an inspiration for the design.
