Political Ads on Philo

Hey there,

We know you love kicking back and enjoying your favorite shows on Philo, but lately, you might have noticed some additional political ads popping up.

Some ads run within ad breaks that are not in our control. Since we do not control those breaks, we do not have control over the ads in those breaks either.

We have objective standards for the ad breaks we control. Ads, including political ads, that meet the standards are eligible to be played in those breaks we control. If you have a complaint about a specific ad, please note when and where you saw it, and we are happy to look into whether it meets our ad standards.

Utilizing the DVR Feature

If political discourse becomes too much for you, you can always use our DVR and Saved features to customize your own viewing experience by saving your favorite shows, with your DVR recordings, you can fast forward and rewind your saved shows and movies to your heart’s content.
