Synopsis
Home cooks are on the same level as professional chefs with years of industry experience -- at least in the judges' eyes -- in this culinary competition that conceals the contestants' identities until after a winner has been declared. Each episode features two rounds of challenges, which lead to a cash prize for the winner. The contestants are tasked with incorporating secret ingredients into classic meals, such as burgers and macaroni and cheese, with one contestant being eliminated following the first round. The three remaining cooks then face a new secret ingredient in the second round, which ultimately decides the winner. The judges assess the dishes based solely on presentation and taste, with the contestants' true occupations remaining unknown until after the final decision is made -- even host Geoffrey Zakarian doesn't know the true occupations of the contestants.Cast
