Premiering tonight at 6 pm PST on BET, the new season of Tyler Perry’s Sistas begins. Let us get you ready for all the newest unfoldings in Atlanta with Sistas.

The familiar cast of Sistas is back, though with plenty of new characters in the fold. Fans will see Ebony Obsidian as Karen, KJ Smith as Andrea, Novi Brown as Sabrina, Crystal Hayslett as Fatima and Mignon Von as Danni, among other favorites. But plenty of past characters, and drama, are sure to enter the world of the Sistas.

How did Sistas Season 6 end?

This section contains spoilers: We saw Season 6 end with more questions than answers. Zac schemed a way to get his son from his baby mama, only to make another shocking discovery of the poor conditions his son is being raised in. Zac and Fatima end the season making the rash decision to pull his son from the apartment and leave.

Danni learns that Preston has been married and is blocking her from his phone. She, in typical fashion, decides she’s going out for the night to blow off steam with Tony.

Andi, Fatima and Penelope face Gary, calling out his manipulation and helping Penelope learn the truth of his antics. Gary and Hayden swear to get revenge on Andi and Fatima.

We see Karen negotiating a lease on a new commercial real estate property to replace her burned down salon. Her realtor suspects the contractor helping Karen has an interest in her.

What’s Season 7 About?

In addition to the finale of Season 6, the trailer of Season 7 shows us FBI entanglement for Gary, Danni perhaps caught in an awkward situation, Karen once again confronting Zac about DNA results and also perhaps cutting the tape at the site of her new business, Sabrina referencing her ex, and an unidentified body riding on a gurney. As the teaser suggests, “secrets will be revealed.” The season could follow a similar format to Season 6, with 22 episodes split across two parts.
