A Message to our Legacy Amazon users

You may have received an email from Amazon on September 30, 2025, with some incorrect information. Here are details on the upcoming changes to Philo’s Legacy plan on Amazon: 

• We are upgrading all Legacy customers to our 1-year DVR plan. The 30-day DVR Legacy plan is discontinued.

  • Your Legacy price, billed through Amazon, will increase to $29/month, plus applicable taxes starting November 7, 2025. With this change, your DVR will be upgraded from 30 days to 1 year.

  • You’ll continue to have access to the same great Philo content, but please note that HBO Max Basic with Ads and discovery+ are not included in the Philo Legacy plan.

• You can save $4 by billing directly with philo.com for $25/month, plus applicable taxes.

From the beginning, Philo set out to be different: a streaming service built around simplicity, affordability, and respect. We worked hard to avoid frequent price hikes. However, with rising content costs every year, this approach is no longer possible. 

We're grateful that you've invited us into your home over the years, and in honor of our longstanding relationship, we're maintaining this lower-priced Legacy package that is not available to new or returning customers. 

We hope you’ll continue to be a subscriber, but we understand if you wish to cancel. If you do, you can continue watching our over 110 free channels, with 30-day DVR, and a growing selection of movies and shows you can stream any time.
